Kevin founded Altura with a simple conviction: the right equipment in the hands of someone who understands trees changes everything. Three decades of experience across Hawaii's diverse microclimates means every job is informed by real knowledge of how trees grow, heal, and respond in this specific environment.
We are conservationists first.
Our default answer is not removal. We rehabilitate, prune to ANSI A300 standards, and only recommend removal when a tree poses a genuine hazard that cannot be mitigated. Healthy trees stay. That is the rule, not the exception.
Protecting Hawaii's native ecosystem.
We actively protect native species and hold state certifications in invasive species control. Every piece of equipment is cleaned between sites to prevent the transport of threats like the rhinoceros beetle. What leaves one property does not endanger the next.
